Kikaua Point : One of my favorite, easily accessible beach park locations, approximately 5 miles north of Kona International airport, about 5 minutes walking distance from the parking lot. However, advance permit reservations are required with a permit fee, as the # of events are limited to one at a time. It has a lovely grassy penisula surrounded by ocean, lava formations, sand, groves of trees, en route to a picturesque beach through the coconut trees to specatcular sunsets. Set far from residences, has a nice feeling of privacy, especially in the early AM or at sunset time.

Marriott Waikoloa Weddings : A favorite hotel venue. The prime location of King's Knoll is availalbe for weddings, set far away from t he hotel and nestled at the border of picturesque ponds, with the beach in the distance, this location hosts postcard sunsets all year long. The grounds of the Marriott are available for pre and post wedding photos. Group accomodations and large wedding amenities are available. The luau, on Wednesdays and Sundays is in a fabulous outdoor location and in my opinion, one of the island's best.
